The Early Bird ticket deadline for the 50th reunion of Burnaby Central Class of 1975 is fast approaching.  It’s only 27 days left to take advantage of the discount rates.  After that date the price will increase to $75. If you are planning to joint us at this celebration, please make an effort to commit to this event now.  It just gives us a better idea of who’s coming and how many we can expect.  Come join us to celebrate how far we’ve all come.  Looking forward to seeing you all there.

If you know of a classmate who left school early, siblings and friends let them know that they are welcome to attend.  This invitation is open to all that can make it. Don’t forget about your spouse. To get your ticket, send your e-transfer to: info@burnabycentralclassof1975.ca Remember to add your maiden name in the message box on the e-transfer. If you would rather send a cheque, email us and we will send you the mailing address, also noting your maiden name on the cheque. The sales are trickling in, let’s see if we can turn that into a flood. It is nerve wracking for the organizers to sit and wait for the ticket sales. If we do not reach our sales goal we will be forced to cancel the event with the organizers on the hook for the deposit amount. Please don’t let that happen. Thank you to those who have already purchased your ticket.

Why do I love reunions? I have organized several reunions over the years and the best part is calling you guys up, identifying myself, you saying ‘Oh my God, I remember you’ and having a long conversation. The surprise I feel when someone who I thought would have no idea who I was but they do. I wasn’t as invisible as I thought.

Have you ever found yourself wondering about old friends, old class mates? What happened to Gord Oliver, what did he do with his life, did he and Lorna get married or did they move on? Burning questions. I love to chat with people and find out who they became, where are they now, what are they interested in, do they knit? Get the answers to all your questions and more, come to the reunion.
